Ingredients fish cutlets 


  • 6 servings
  • 300 g all-purpose flour 
  • 100 grams of frozen butter 
  • The 5 drops of lemon juice 
  • 200 grams of fish,
  • 500 ml of refined oil 
  • 5 g salt 
  • 2 egg yolks 
  • 100 ml water
  • coconut milk, if needed

  • 50 g of potatoes 
  • 10 g of onion 
  • 5 g ginger 
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • herbs and spices, and black pepper, if needed 
  • 20 g of carrots 
  • 5 cloves of garlic 
  • To 100 ml of a refined butter 
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of clove powder 


How to Make Fish Cutlet 

Step 1: Boil the potatoes and chop them finely 

To prepare this delicious dish, the potatoes thoroughly, and boil them in a pot of water for about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and remove the outer skin of each potato. Next, chop the sweet potatoes. 


Step 2. Preparation of the fish in the mixture for the filling: 

Heat the oil saucepan over low heat. When the oil is hot enough, fry the onion, garlic, and ginger. Fry the onion until soft and golden, then add in the turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper. Mix it up for a few seconds, and then add the fish to the mixture. Stir frequently and cook for about 3 minutes. Next, add the potatoes and salt to the mixture and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat once the mixture is ready. 


Step 3-Mix the dough for the outer layer of the filling 

Take a large bowl and add the flour, butter, and a pinch of salt. Rub the mixture until it turns into crumbs. This cookie crumbs, add the egg yolk and mix the mixture thoroughly. Add the required amount of coconut milk to form a soft and smooth dough out of the mixture as a whole. You can add a little water to the perfect consistency. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about half an hour. 


Step 4, to Fish, to fill in the form for the outer shell with the mixture 

Divide the dough into pieces and roll them with a rolling pin on a floured surface to make a 6 round thin cake of dark circles. You can also use a pastry cutter to create a better wheel for a slice of cake. In one of the neighborhoods, fill the fish with the stuffing and secure by folding the circle in half, and in the shape of a half-moon. Press gently on the edges to cover the filling up to the level of the surface of the dough with a fork. Repeat for the other wheel.
